Rodopski tea is a famous herbal tea in Bulgaria. It gets its name from the Bulgarian Rodopi Mountain Region near Greece. This traditional combination of Bulgarian herbs has a smooth fresh mountain taste. It is traditionally served warm with honey, but is also refreshing cold.
The components do vary, but typically are comprised of:
- apple fruit,
- rose hips,
- yarrow blossom,
- leaf of wild strawberry or blackberry,
- leaf of quince and
- wild thyme.
