• 1 cup water
• 1 tbsp freshly cut pine needles
• 1 tbsp raw honey
• Lemon juice (to taste)

Directions:
Collect a bunch of fresh pine needles. Remove brown stem by pulling off and rinse under cold running water. Cut into small pieces. Bring water to a boil in a small pot. Add freshly cut pine needles to pot. Turn burner off and steep for 5 minutes. Strain into a mug. Add honey and lemon juice to taste.

The health benefits of this tea are great. It is high in vitamin C, but be sure not too drink too much. Perhaps one glass a day would be plenty. And be sure to be aware that some pine trees are poisonous like a Norfolk Island Pine (Araucaria heterophylla) and a Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa).
