Ingredients:

1 cup medium grain bulgur
2 cups water
2 cups milk
2 tsp salted butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

The night before, place the bulgur in a medium saucepan with salt. Bring 1 cup water to a boil and pour over the bulgur. Cover with a lid and leave overnight. The next morning add the milk to the pot and stir together with a wooden spoon. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring often, or for a thicker pudding stirring constantly, until the mixture has thickened for about 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in the butter and maple syrup for a few more minutes. Now it is ready to serve or chili.
